Another full day. Yesterday we used our bodies: a hike on Dartmoor with stops to practise focusing our attention on the earth, biosphere and atmosphere, scale and beauty as a prelude to experiencing Deep Ecology; my team worked in the garden — mixing compost and sawing wood and, in the evening, we danced movement medicine.

I heard this morning (thanks Vini) that VSO is evacuating all their volunteers from Kenya and suspending its programme until the end of February due to continuing outbreaks of violence and increasing ethnic tension. First day partly done: we have another session in half an hour, hopefully I can knock out a quick entry before then.

Service; that’s what it’s all about at the end of the day. And being happy to serve.
Arrived at Schumacher College last night after four amazing days: the last of the NLP training.
