Hi Hannah,

Sorry I didn't make an effort to talk to you at the weekend. Staying at No 18 can be a bit frazzling... oh what the heck, thats just an excuse, I'm too wrapped up in my own business to take the trouble to get to know Rose's friends. I hardly even talked to Rose, Kate or Joe all weekend; I'm not proud of it. Sometimes it feels like there is a barrier between me and each of my brother's children, if so, its one I have put there myself.

Erm, I don't think you wanted to know all that, did you Hannah? I'm glad you are interested in what Im doing in Kenya. I'll add a little more info on the Tala page about what I know so far, but come back and read this blog again in a few weeks to find out what I'm really doing, because even I don't know yet.

Dawn

Thanks for dropping by. You're asking the wrong person about Lowestoft, you could ask me about any town other than the one where I grew up. Its a very nice typical seaside town, just as Hannah says. The North beach wins prizes for golden sand, further South is England's second naturist beach (its rocky not sandy; England's first naturist beach in Brighton is rocky too, maybe naturists don't like sand getting in their private places?), you can get fresh seafood on the prom and play shoot-em-ups on the pier. What more would you want from a seaside town. If you go, I can recommend the guesthouse at 18 Kirkley Cliff!
