Apparently the Northern bits of Africa are getting plenty of rain. Those storm fronts travel west across the Atlantic and turn into hurricanes. Florida has been hit twice in two days by tropical stuff; Tropical Storm Bonnie wasn't too bad but Hurricane Charley yesterday ballooned up into a Category 4 (135 mph winds) just before it hit the west coast of Florida and nobody was really prepared for it. My friend Eric's parents live in Port Charlotte, which was ground zero. They thankfully went inland to grandma's house, because there's nothing left of their house. Roof is gone, windows all exploded, sailboat has been found two miles away in someone's house.

There are two more on the way. One is going to veer off north into the Atlantic and die out, but the closer one is on the same track to slip over the islands and over Cuba and right into the Gulf. I've never seen a hurricane season like this, it's only August.

Hey Natty!

I heard something about florida on the radio today. Seems it did supprise everyone. Everybody who'se seen the pictures from Samburu is supprised how green it is, its supposed to be desert. Can't trust this climate.

Hi Sis!

I knew about diff locks.. I'm a man and son of Ernie. I just knew about them!

I've not seen much rain apart from that shower that impeded our progress.

Im very happy to read about the new lamb. And for anyone reading who knows about the sisters who run my college I'd like to point out that there is absolutely no connection what so ever between the following:

- My sister's sheep Ewe-phemia,
- Sister Euphemia
