Hey Mark. Just catching up on your blog. I had a look at the ad. I have to say I didn't get it. I'm not in the least bit objective though. Since returning home, I become nauseous if I happen to catch a christian children's fund on tv. Today, I hung up on a Feed the Children solicitor, as I felt my throat constrict. And that multiplier ad gave me the same, immediate, visceral reaction. Can't yet explain it but do know that "charity" does not mean to me what it did pre-Kenya. And those ads seem, well, evil. Hope you are well, C

I'm not in the right mood to sensibly critique but I watched the cartoon one and I found it irritating. Havent bees been reproducing for some time without a big machine? Why do the people who own the empty beehives get stung at the end? I guess they feel they have to have some kind of theme. I know there are lots of people who read this who have a much much better idea than I have of what Christian Aid actually does with its money so I've got no idea how useful their work actually is but I'd love to know what happens outside of the adverts.
